Is Full Professor of Psychology at the Department of Personality, Assessment and Psychological Treatment, Faculty of Psychology, at the National University of Distance Education (UNED). She is an internationally recognized expert in perinatal psychology and perinatal mental health, with an academic, clinical, and research career devoted to advancing the understanding, prevention, and treatment of psychological difficulties during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Professor Rodríguez Muñoz has authored more than 70 scientific publications in the field of perinatal mental health and has participated in over 10 competitively funded research projects. Her work has focused on the prevention of perinatal depression and anxiety, maternal mental health, early intervention, and evidence-based psychological care for mothers and infants. She has led numerous national and international collaborations.
She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Clínica y Salud and Associate Editor of Archives of Women's Mental Health. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health, contributing to the promotion of research, clinical practice, and policy development in perinatal mental health worldwide.

Maria F. Rodríguez-Muñoz, PhD
is Reader in Global Mental Health and Design at King’s College London (KCL). She is Co-Director of the Centre for Global Mental Health and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Mental Health at KCL. Her work blends human-centred design, systems thinking and implementation science to develop development of scalable and sustainable solutions to address adolescent mental health in sub-Saharan Africa. She is currently a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow leading the INSPIRE (Innovative approaches to adolescent perinatal wellbeing) and SUMMIT (Scaling-up co-designed mental health interventions for teens) projects. In addition, she has supports WHO global efforts to strengthen the integration of perinatal mental health into maternal and child health services.

Dr. Tatiana Taylor Salisbury
Professor Sarah Kittel-Schneider is a psychiatrist and clinician scientist whose work focuses on psychosocial and biological risk factors for peripartum mental disorders, including those affecting fathers, as well as multimodal biomarkers in ADHD and mood disorders. She is Director of the Psychiatric and Psychotherapeutic Hospital at the University Hospital in Erlangen, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and Adjunct Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioural Science at University College Cork. Her research group also investigates human induced pluripotent stem cell models of neurodevelopmental and mental disorders.
Trained in medicine at the University of Würzburg, Professor Kittel-Schneider has held senior leadership roles in academic psychiatry in Germany and Ireland and is an active member of multiple international networks, including Chair of ECNP iPSC Platform for Neuropsychiatry and Treasurer of the International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health. She has contributed to European initiatives such as the COST Actions TREASURE and RiseUpPPD and to guideline development on peripartum depression

Professor Sarah Kittel-Schneider
Saeunn Kjartansdottir is a registered nurse and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist
with a diploma from The Anna Freud Centre in Parent Infant Psychotherapy.
Since 1992 she has been working privately as an adult psychotherapist and
supervisor.
In 2008 she cofounded The Centre for parents and infants (Miðstöð foreldra og
barna) in Reykjavik, which for 15 years provided therapy for parents and infants
during pregnancy and the infant‘s first year of life.
Saeunn has published books about the importance of early childhood, aimed at
Icelandic parents and professionals:The Years No one Remembers (2009), The
First 1000 days (2015) and The Intelligent Animal (2024).
